About the Role
The E-Commerce Operations Manager position is a new and exciting role within a fast paced, dynamic business who has established themselves as the UK’s largest supplier of Nintendo and other gaming accessories.
We want to grow our Amazon and eBay business doubling revenue and profit. We have a number of opportunities to achieve this which include growing the core Amazon and eBay business, leveraging Amazon Marketplace harder, delivering accelerated growth to include a wider geographical scope. There is a significant opportunity for the right individual to harness our capabilities to drive synergies and deliver accelerated growth.
This new role will be responsible for reviewing the detail of our current Amazon and eBay businesses and identifying the incremental opportunities and focusing on the Amazon and eBay metrics. This role will suit a self-starter with a strong Amazon and inventory management background.
Requirements
The Candidate
The E-Commerce Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering accelerated growth through Amazon and eBay channels.
Essential Skills & Attributes
The successful candidate will have 5+ year’s experience of trading with Amazon, either as a vendor, a seller or a Distributor. They will have a clear track record of creating the tools, processes and trading mechanisms to successfully grow business on Amazon.
Skills must include:
Good project management skills to build new capabilities to deliver growth
Proven track record in building business via Amazon.
Strong commercial skills and an ability to manage the stock inventory management system, including forecasting, order management, fulfilment and distribution of stock to multiple international locations.
Desirable skills include:
Experience working in a ‘matrixed’ team environment, influencing without direct line management control.
Direct experience at Amazon, either in the Amazon Consumer division or through Amazon Seller Central
Experience gained running an Amazon seller business or vendor business
Knowledge of gaming products would be beneficial but not essential.
Experience:
Amazon: 5 years (preferred)
Commercial Operations including Stock Inventory Management and Logistics: 5 years (preferred)
